LOVE LAND is the kind of powerful, complex and totally original film we're always asking for that features a cast of complicated disabled characters portrayed by an award-winning ensemble of actors with actual disabilities!
SEX, DRUGS and... INSTITUTIONAL CARE FACILITIES? That's what life becomes for 24-year-old Ivy when she gets locked away in the ironically named Love Land state supported living center. The staff and other residents at "The Ranch" don't know what to think about Ivy's desperate efforts to get back into the community by any means necessary - and, by the end of this film that refuses to fall into formula, neither will you.
We are delighted to have DIRECTOR JOSHUA TATE join us in the studio to answer your questions as we wrap up a fantastic first season of DISLABELED Philly Film Series.
