ABOUT ABOUT

Roll right in for another fun night of disability culture and community!

MY GIMPY LIFE is the International Academy of Web Television award-winning comedy series created by and starring TEAL SHERER.  Loosely based on her real life, the show centers around Sherer’s awkward adventures as a disabled actress trying to navigate Hollywood in a wheelchair.

Stick around after the screening for a revealing, televised discussion with our special guest ANITA HOLLANDER, National Chair of Performers with Disabilities for the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. In addition to her leadership in SAG-AFTRA, Anita has performed onstage throughout Europe, Asia and America, at Carnegie Hall, London’s West End and NY Shakespeare Festival.

As always, all DISLABELED events proudly feature open captioning, audio description and sign language interpretation.

Keep cool at the most refreshingly accessible show in town!

Doors open at 5:00 PM

Show starts at 5:30 PM

Arrive early to enjoy snacks and light fare before the show, catered by Harmony Home Cooperative.
